It’s Thursday.

A quiet day of rolling storms but no crescendo. The wind whipped but the heavens did not show up to all the fuss.

I sit in my backyard, all pondering and waiting.

A storm is coming.

Death numbers and documented cases are down in my area. This gives me hope…no matter what the news is tryna’ tell me.

I’m isolated. Alone. I’m together with my family.

Together, we will, as Jim Morrison so aptly stated: Break on through to the other side.

Wherever you are. Whatever you believe. I wish you peace.

A peace that passes all understanding during this time.

Some people called me a blogger once. Now, I’m just tucking away some words for myself and you. Here to shine a bit of light on this present darkness.
