#TeacherQuarantine Day 4- On Hope During this Time

I believe that isolation will help to bring us all closer.

I believe that leaders will emerge to create solutions as they arise. And before.

I believe in the American spirit to overcome adversity, together.

I believe that our world is pivoting.

I believe that every kids needs to enjoy Spring Break next week in my county while parents gently begin to set up a schedule for them, if they haven’t already.

I believe that parents are about to see teachers at their absolute best after the kinks work themselves out. Parents will get to actually SEE teachers in action for the first time since being in a classroom themselves.

I believe that this pivot in our culture is happening, and I believe that it has the ability to make us all appreciate community more so than we have been lately. This is gonna take the whole village.

I believe God is at work in all this chaos.

I believe in the gradual, great uniting back together again of our country…on the other side of all this distance.

And I still believe in the power of hugs, and handshakes and holding hands. Just not right now.

In the meanwhile, ask for help if you need it, and help as you can.

Some people called me a blogger once. Now, I’m just tucking away some words for myself and you. Here to shine a bit of light on this present darkness.
